A Westborough homeowner wanted cabinet refinishing AND whole first-floor interior repaint. Sequencing as two separate projects would've meant 11 working days + two crew mobilizations. Bundled, we did it in 8.

The challenge

Cabinet work and interior wall work have opposite ideal conditions. Cabinets prefer sealed dust-free spaces. Wall painting needs open access. Doing them simultaneously means careful protection — cabinets staged off-site, walls done while the cabinet doors and drawers are at our shop.

What we did

  • Day 1: Remove cabinet doors + drawers, send to shop for spray-finishing
  • Days 2–6: First-floor walls + trim repaint (open kitchen access)
  • Day 5–6: Cabinet boxes hand-painted under containment in kitchen
  • Day 7: Reinstall cabinet doors + drawers, hardware
  • Day 8: Touch-ups + final walk-through

The result

Coordinated palette — cabinets in Cloud White, walls in Repose Gray, trim matching cabinets. Looks like one design decision instead of two staggered projects. Saved 3 working days and one full crew mobilization vs separate scheduling.
